Not a drop of tear ,

Not a speck of light,

Just moving on with happiness and delight ,

Walking away wasn’t the easiest thing to do

There was darkness all around.

Just caught on to a ray of hope

And walked on .

Found a reason to smile

Don’t know if it will last for a while

But just keeping the faith

As I stand up

To start all over new

To start afresh.

Don’t know the outcome,

It’ll either be celebration or it will be numb

But challenges are what makes life worthwhile

So I accept it with a smile

I accept it with a happy mind.
